Grade O6 Tool Steel

O6 is an AOD melted oil hardened tool steel.  This alloy has free graphite within the microstructure which dramatically helps machinability.  This grade is used over other alloys when severe dimensional requirements are necessary.  Typical applications include drawing dies and punches.  Universal Stainless rolls this product on a 4HI reversing blooming mill into plate.
