Grade 430F Stainless Steel

430F stainless steel is a ferritic, straight chromium alloy melted as AOD.  This alloy is similar to 430 stainless with increased sulfur to dramatically improve machinability This alloy does not form as easily as standard 430 due to the sulfur but still has moderate ductility.  430F is often used as gears, fasteners, or solenoids within various industries.
